How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Resident Liaison Officer (RLO) - Planned Works

    Location: Westminster

    Rate: Up to £22 per hour

    Contract: Temporary to Permanent

    Fortus Recruitment provides specialist recruitment services, supplying quality candidates on a temporary or permanent basis to leading organisations throughout the construction, property services, and social housing sectors.

    We are currently working with a leading contractor who is looking to recruit an experienced Resident Liaison Officer to join their team on a planned works programme in Westminster.

    This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced RLO looking for a temp-to-perm position, working closely with residents, site teams and the client to ensure planned works are communicated effectively and delivered with minimal disruption.

    Key Responsibilities

    Act as the main point of contact for residents throughout the planned works programme.

    Carry out resident visits, pre-start meetings and regular communication throughout the works.

    Explain the scope and programme of works clearly to residents.

    Arrange access and appointments with residents and ensure works can progress efficiently.

    Identify and support vulnerable residents, putting appropriate measures in place where required.

    Manage resident queries, concerns and complaints, ensuring issues are resolved promptly.

    Liaise closely with site managers, supervisors, contractors and client representatives.

    Maintain accurate records of resident communications, visits, appointments and feedback.

    Attend site and client meetings, providing updates on resident issues and satisfaction.

    Help minimise disruption to residents and maintain strong relationships throughout the programme.

    Promote excellent customer service and resident engagement.

    Skills & Experience

    Previous experience as a Resident Liaison Officer, Tenant Liaison Officer, Customer Liaison Officer, or similar.

    Experience working on planned works or refurbishment projects, ideally within social housing.

    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

    Confident dealing with residents, contractors and client representatives.

    Good IT and administrative skills.

    Full UK driving licence preferred.

    A proactive, professional and customer-focused approach.
