How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    The Opportunity

Portfolio HR & Reward is partnering with a premier, data-driven global investment management firm to secure a Benefits Specialist for their growing team in London. This is a newly created position born out of continuous international business growth.

Operating within a fast-paced and highly collaborative environment, this role offers an exceptional opportunity for an ambitious benefits professional to develop a truly international career. Initially, you will focus heavily on operational excellence and vendor management, with a clear trajectory over the next 12-18 months to lead on technology innovation and process improvement. A marquee project for the incoming specialist will be supporting the rollout of a brand-new global benefits platform.

    Key Responsibilities

Support the day-to-day management and delivery of employee benefits programmes across multiple EMEA jurisdictions.
Coordinate annual insurance renewals and manage relationships with external brokers and benefits vendors across the region.
Act as a key project member for the upcoming global benefits platform implementation; maintain data accuracy across HRIS (Workday) and provider portals.
Serve as a primary point of contact for employee benefits queries, delivering a high-touch, premium service.
Identify opportunities to streamline administrative workflows, enhance communication strategies, and improve overall operational efficiency.
Ensure all regional benefits programmes remain strictly compliant with localized regulatory requirements.

What Our Client Is Looking For

The hiring manager is seeking a dedicated benefits professional with approximately three to six years of experience who views reward and benefits as their long-term specialism.

Experience working in-house within financial services, technology, or a fast-paced multinational corporate environment.
Strong foundational knowledge of benefits operations, including enrolments, complex queries, renewals, and data reporting.
Hands-on experience utilising benefits administration platforms or advanced HRIS networks (Workday exposure is highly advantageous).
Prior exposure to managing benefits across multiple countries is a distinct advantage, though a genuine desire to learn EMEA frameworks is essential.
A curious, proactive professional who enjoys taking ownership of tasks and thrives in an evolving, collaborative setting.

    What the Role Offers You

Direct exposure to complex benefits structures across multiple EMEA countries.
A pivotal role in a major global technology implementation project.
A culture that values continuous learning, autonomy, and high performance.
    Fully paid, comprehensive safety-net clauses
A clear progression pathway into strategic, innovation-led benefits management.
