How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    About Scruffy Dog Productions Limited

Scruffy Dog Productions Limited is a leading creative production company delivering high-quality design, fabrication and production solutions for clients across the UK and internationally.

We operate in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where strong communication, organisation and attention to detail are essential.

    The Role

We are looking for a highly organised, proactive and professional Executive Assistant to provide day-to-day support to our Senior Management Team.

This is a hands-on role that goes beyond traditional diary management and administration. You will work closely with senior leaders while also engaging with teams across our factory and wider business to gather information, coordinate actions and ensure management has clear and timely visibility of operational matters.

You will play an important role in ensuring meetings are effectively coordinated, decisions and actions are accurately captured, deadlines are followed up, and key issues requiring management attention are proactively highlighted.

    Key Responsibilities

    * Provide comprehensive executive, administrative and coordination support to the Senior Management Team.

    * Coordinate diaries, meetings, documentation, information and follow-up actions.

    * Work proactively across the factory and wider business to gather operational updates, information and feedback from relevant teams.

    * Act as a professional communication link between the Senior Management Team, employees, departments and external stakeholders.

    * Attend SMT meetings and produce clear, concise and accurate minutes.

    * Capture key decisions, actions, responsibilities and deadlines.

    * Maintain action trackers and proactively follow up agreed actions to ensure progress within required timescales.

    * Identify and escalate key issues, risks, concerns and matters requiring SMT attention.

    * Gather and prepare reports, updates, documents and supporting information for SMT meetings and business reviews.

    * Maintain accurate records and ensure information is communicated clearly and appropriately.

    * Handle confidential and commercially sensitive information with discretion.

    * Provide additional administrative and business support to the Senior Management Team as required.

    About You

We are looking for someone who is confident, organised and comfortable operating in a busy production-led environment. You should be able to communicate professionally with senior management while being equally comfortable engaging with colleagues across the factory and wider business.

    You will ideally have:

    * Previous experience as an Executive Assistant, Personal Assistant, Senior Administrator or in a similar role supporting senior management.

    * Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.

    * Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

    * Confidence engaging with employees and stakeholders at all levels of an organisation.

    * The ability and willingness to work across a factory, workshop or production environment.

    * Strong information-gathering skills with the ability to identify key points and communicate them clearly.

    * Experience taking professional meeting minutes and managing action trackers and follow-ups.

    * A proactive approach and the confidence to independently follow up actions and obtain information from different departments.

    * Excellent attention to detail and sound professional judgement.

    * Discretion and professionalism when handling confidential and commercially sensitive information.

    * Strong problem-solving skills.

    * Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and standard business administration systems
