How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Data Entry & Support Specialist - London, St Paul's

    £30k - £32k per annum DOE

    Daniel Owen is looking for a Data Entry & Support Specialist to join the team in our buzzing London office in the heart of St Paul's.

    This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in the development of an exciting new division within Daniel Owen. The role will involve supporting the team with administration, candidate and database management, market research and candidate communication.

    This is far from your average data entry role. It's a unique opportunity for someone who is highly organised, methodical and thrives in a fast-paced environment, playing a key role in supporting the growth of an exciting new division.

    Your impact as an Data Entry & Support Specialist:

    Data Management: Accurately enter, update and maintain candidate information within our recruitment database, ensuring records are always up to date.

    Administrative Support: Provide day to day administrative support to the team, ensuring processes run efficiently to contribute to the successful growth of a brand-new division.

    Candidate Outreach: Creating and distributing e-shots to our candidate database to increase engagement and build up our candidate pool.

    Job Advertising: Create and post job adverts across multiple platforms, helping to attract high-quality candidates to support with market research.

    Candidate Engagement: Register candidates, conduct initial telephone conversations and provide a professional first impression of Daniel Owen.

    Market Research: Conduct market research to identify industry trends, client needs and competitor activity, analysing findings to support strategic planning and business decisions.

    Social Media Engagement: Create and share targeted social media content to showcase market insights, strengthen client engagement and attract qualified candidates.
