We are currently recruiting 2 experienced Multi-Skilled Operatives to join a busy reactive maintenance contract covering social housing properties across Reading, Basingstoke and Thatcham.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established contractor working on the Home Group contract, carrying out reactive repairs and maintenance across occupied properties.

The Role

The successful candidates will be responsible for carrying out a range of reactive maintenance and repair works, including:

Day-to-day reactive repairs and general maintenance
Door adjustments, repairs and general carpentry
Flooring repairs and renewals
Basic plumbing and patch repairs
General remedial and property maintenance works
Working within occupied social housing properties
Completing all works efficiently and to a high standard
Providing a professional and respectful service to tenants

Requirements

Proven experience in reactive maintenance or social housing repairs
Multi-trade or multi-skilled background preferred
Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively
Good communication and customer service skills
Own tools and transport preferred
CSCS card preferred
Reliable and professional approach to work
