Our client is renowned for their comprehensive vehicle services, including storage, inspection, maintenance, dispatch, and transportation. Job Details:

Location: Crewe
Salary: £12.71p/h, weekly pay
Type: Temp to Perm
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, weekly shift rotation of 6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm.
We are looking for individuals who can commit to work 3-5 shifts per week and is available on any day. Full-time opportunities are available

About the role?

Working under the supervision and co-ordination of the Site Manager and Team Leader, you will be required to perform various inspection checks on newly manufactured vehicles, completing a full Pre-Delivery Inspection, including compound handling, to prepare them for dealerships.

Key responsibilities of the Role:

To carry out safe vehicle movements in a multifaceted compound setting.
To comply with the correct parking procedures and site speed limits.
To conduct pre-delivery Inspections in accordance with company quality standards.
To preform appropriate safety testing of vehicle settings.
To support with vehicle fuelling
To support with valeting vehicles – internally and externally.
To complete documentation of all inspection paperwork and report any discrepancies to the compound team leader.
To ensure health & safety procedures are adhered at all times.
Undertake other duties as directed commensurate with the level of the job function.
About you?

To be successful, you must be over 25 years old, possess a valid driver’s license with fewer than 6 penalty points, and have no DR10 offenses for insurance purposes.
To succeed in this role, candidates must be able to work the specified shift times above.
To succeed in this role, you will need to pass an onsite drivers’ assessment and a pre-employment drug & alcohol test prior to starting.
The ideal candidate will be confident in their driving and have experience with automatic and manual vehicles.
The ideal candidate will have a level headed approach. This is required when driving vehicles to ensure the safety of yourself & your colleagues.
The ideal candidate will have basic understanding of health and safety and cooperate with managers to comply with Health & Safety regulations.
