Handyman

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Handyman / Handyperson based in the Barnstaple and surrounding area to join one of the UK's leading facilities management companies. You will be working covering the Barnstaple and the surrounding region.

Some experience with basic plumbing in a commercial setting will be beneficial for this role.

This will be is a multi-site role offering building maintenance services across a range of disciplines aimed at keeping services and costs in-house. Experience working in commercial premises, particularly the retail sector, would be a distinct advantage.

The work consists of a mix of PPM and reactive building works internally and externally to include:

Building

Roof - repair roof leaks and quarterly gutter and gully clearance
Brickwork - repairs to walls
Floor - repair vinyl and ceramic tiles
Car Park / yard works
Roller shutters - annual PPM and reactive repairsPainting and decorating

Carry out minor painting repairsPlumbing and drainage

Unblock drains, urinals, toilets, and sinks.
Repair leaking taps and washers.
For the right candidate a fantastic salary / package is on offer consisting of the following:

Basic salary - £30,000
40 hours per week
Paid travel time = give 30 mins each way
Overtime
