How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    What You'll Be Doing

Delivering exceptional onsite IT support to employees across the business.
Diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, application and connectivity issues.
Installing, configuring, maintaining and repairing IT equipment and systems.
Setting up and managing computers, devices, peripherals and user accounts.
Supporting Windows environments, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Active Directory and Microsoft Intune.
Managing incidents escalated by the Service Desk that require onsite intervention or advanced troubleshooting.
Performing basic network troubleshooting across LAN, Wi-Fi, connectivity and structured cabling.
Working closely with infrastructure, networking, security and application teams to resolve issues and support projects.
Assisting with technology rollouts, migrations, upgrades and continuous improvement initiatives.
Maintaining accurate asset records and support documentation within the ticketing system.
Acting as a deputy for the ICT Coordinator when required.
Supporting occasional out-of-hours activities for critical incidents, maintenance or project work.
Travelling occasionally to support operational and project requirements.

    What We're Looking For

Previous experience in an IT Support Engineer, Desktop Support, Service Desk or similar technical support role.
    Strong knowledge of:
    Windows operating systems
    Microsoft 365
Active Directory / Microsoft Entra ID
    Microsoft Intune
    Cloud-based IT environments
Good understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, LAN and Wi-Fi troubleshooting.
Knowledge of IT security principles, access management and asset management.
Experience using ticketing or IT Service Management (ITSM) platforms.
    Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
A proactive, approachable and customer-focused attitude.

    Why Join Savaria?

Be part of a growing international organisation making a genuine difference to people's lives.
Work within a supportive and collaborative global IT team.
Gain exposure to a broad range of technologies and projects.
Competitive salary of £30,000-£35,000 plus benefits.

If you're a technically capable IT professional who thrives on delivering excellent customer service and wants to be part of a business with a meaningful purpose, we'd love to hear from you.
