How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Work with the wider property team to deliver consistently high standards of customer care.

    Contractor and compliance management

Build effective relationships with contractors and service providers.

Review risk assessments and method statements before works begin.

Issue permits to work and conduct contractor inductions.

Monitor contractor performance, quality, cost and delivery.

Ensure appropriate health and safety controls are followed across all works.

Coordinate fire-safety activity, testing, drills and required remedial actions.

Maintain awareness of asbestos, Legionella and other building-related risks.

Ensure risks are recorded, assigned and closed through the company’s health and safety management system.

    Records and documentation

    Maintain accurate site records, including:

Maintain a clear audit trail for planned and reactive maintenance tasks.

Ensure internal facilities and compliance systems remain accurate and up to date.

    Budgets and procurement

Support the preparation and management of service-charge and facilities budgets.

Monitor facilities and building-management expenditure across the portfolio.

Raise purchase orders and approve invoices within agreed authority levels.

Procure services and works in line with company procedures.

Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or compliance.

Support forecasting and budget reporting for FM-related costs.

    Team support

Work closely with the senior property and operations team.

Coordinate tasks with workplace and building-based colleagues.

Provide guidance and support to ensure consistent standards across the portfolio.

Deputise for senior colleagues when required.
