This role would suit a commercially focused QS/SQS with recent experience within the UK water sector, particularly on Thames Water schemes, who can quickly integrate into an established team and provide immediate support across project commercial management activities.
Offering £450 to £550/day inside IR35, depending on experience.
Responsibilities will include -
Production and management of monthly Cost Value Reconciliations (CVRs)
Preparation and maintenance of accurate project forecasts and cash flow reporting
Management of subcontractor accounts, including procurement, applications, valuations, variations and final accounts
Preparation, submission and agreement of Client Applications for Payment (AFPs)
Commercial reporting and cost control across the project lifecycle
Management of compensation events, variations and change control procedures
Identification and mitigation of commercial risks and opportunities
Supporting operational teams to maximise commercial performance
Preparation and agreement of final accounts
Ensuring contractual compliance and robust commercial governance
Requirements for this opportunity includes
Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management or a related discipline
MRICS/AssocRICS or working towards chartership desirable but not essential.
Experience working as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor on UK water infrastructure projects for tier one/principal contractors
Recent Thames Water framework experience is strongly preferred
Strong understanding and practical application of NEC contracts
