How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Your new role

    As a Business Management Administrator, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the office. Working closely with the Business Management Team, you will provide comprehensive administrative and business support across multiple departments whilst helping to maintain excellent standards of service for both internal and external stakeholders.

    Your responsibilities will include:

    Supporting the day-to-day running of the office, including facilities, supplies and equipment management.
    Maintaining accurate records, databases, filing systems and archived documents, both electronic and paper-based.
    Providing administrative support across the organisation, including monthly billing activities and managing requests through internal support systems.
    Coordinating meetings, appointments and meeting room bookings.
    Liaising with colleagues, clients, suppliers and external partners to ensure effective communication and service delivery.
    Organising internal events, team-building activities, social functions and charity initiatives.
    Identifying opportunities to improve administrative processes and helping to drive greater efficiency across the business.
    Ensuring administrative procedures are followed and that confidential information is managed appropriately. This is a varied and rewarding opportunity ideally suited to someone who enjoys being at the centre of a busy office environment and takes pride in delivering first-class administrative support.

    What you'll need to succeed

    To be successful in this role, you will have previous experience in an administration, business support, office coordinator or operations support position and be comfortable managing a varied workload in a fast-paced environment.

    You will also demonstrate:

    Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
    Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
    A proactive and positive approach to work.
    High levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
    Experience maintaining confidential information and sensitive records.
    Confidence using Microsoft Office and business systems.
    The ability to prioritise changing workloads and work effectively across multiple teams.
    A solution-focused mindset with a willingness to suggest and implement process improvements.
    A collaborative approach combined with the ability to work independently when required.Candidates should have GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent) and proven experience working within a professional office environment.
