How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    We are currently partnering with a fantastic SME business who are recruiting for an experienced and commercially focused HR Business Partner to join their busy HR team where you will be supporting managers across the organisation

    This is a varied and hands-on HRBP role, providing advice across the full employee lifecycle as well as partnering with the business on people strategy, organisational development and change. You’ll build strong relationships with managers and business heads, providing practical HR advice and challenge to help create engaged, high-performing teams.

    Key Responsibilities

    * Acting as HR adviser and business partner to managers and business leaders, providing HR advice and guidance.

    * Providing expert advice on a broad range of employee relations matters, including absence, performance, conduct, disciplinary and grievance cases, wellbeing and workplace conflict.

    * Managing complex ER cases through to resolution ensuring compliant and fair throughout

    * Supporting workforce planning, organisational change, restructures and organisational development initiatives.

    * Partnering with managers on recruitment, onboarding, talent and workforce planning requirements.

    * Supporting annual salary and bonus review processes.

    * Contributing talent, succession, learning and development initiatives, including graduate, apprenticeship and internship programmes.

    * Identifying learning and development needs and help deliver initiatives aligned to the wider HR strategy.

    * Supporting the development and consistent application of HR policies, procedures and best practice.

    * Using HR data and business insight to identify people priorities, risks and opportunities and make recommendations to management.

    * Leading and supporting a range of HR projects and initiatives, working collaboratively with the wider HR team.

    * Keeping up to date with UK employment legislation and HR best practice, ensuring advice remains current and appropriate.

    Key skills:

    * CIPD Level 5 qualified

    * Pro active

    * Excellent experience dealing with employee relations from start to finish

    * Able to work in process orientated role

    * Previous Business Partnering experience
