Temporary Assignment | 1-2 Weeks

Our client is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer for a short-term project based in Rochester. This is a practical, hands-on role suited to someone with experience in electrical assembly, machine modifications, panel building and installation work.

The Role

You will be responsible for:

* Modifying existing machinery, including mounting, drilling and fitting electrical components such as switches

* Building electrical control cabinets from component level

* Wiring and assembling electrical and mechanical systems

* Installing new safety systems and upgrading existing equipment

* Supporting machinery modifications and improvement projects

* Carrying out testing and fault finding where required

* Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard

What We're Looking For

* Previous experience within an electrical engineering, panel wiring or machine build environment

* Must have experience working on FMCG machinery

* Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics

* Strong electrical assembly and wiring skills

* Practical mechanical fitting experience

* Knowledge of industrial safety systems

* Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively

* Available to start immediately
