How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

This is a strategic leadership position responsible for shaping and delivering the organisation's financial strategy while ensuring robust financial management, governance, and operational performance. The successful candidate will combine strong technical finance expertise with commercial acumen, providing insightful financial guidance that supports long-term growth and business success.

As a key member of the leadership team, you will work closely with senior stakeholders to influence decision-making, drive business performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and support strategic initiatives across the organisation.

    Key Responsibilities

Develop and deliver the organisation's financial strategy in line with business objectives.
Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and scenario modelling activities.
Provide strategic financial insight and recommendations to senior leadership.
Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, management accounts, and cash flow forecasting.
Monitor organisational performance through financial analysis and reporting.
Lead risk management activities and maintain strong financial controls and governance.
Oversee audit, tax, compliance, and regulatory obligations.
Manage cash flow, working capital, and capital investment decisions.
Identify opportunities for cost optimisation and operational efficiency improvements.
Support strategic business projects and organisational growth initiatives.
Build, lead, and develop a high-performing finance team.
Collaborate effectively with leaders across all business functions to drive performance and achieve objectives.
Translate complex financial information into clear, practical recommendations for non-financial stakeholders.
You will be an accomplished finance professional with a proven track record in a senior finance leadership role. You will possess excellent analytical skills, commercial awareness, and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.

Significant experience in a senior finance management or leadership position.
Strong financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting expertise.
    Experience leading and developing teams.
Excellent commercial and strategic thinking skills.
Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Experience managing financial risk, governance, and compliance.
Ability to drive continuous improvement and organisational change.
Strong leadership skills with a collaborative and solutions-focused approach.
If you're an ambitious finance leader looking for a role where you can influence strategy, drive performance, and make a meaningful impact within a growing organisation, we'd love to hear from you
