How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Enforcement Agent

    Location: Isle of Wight

    Contract Type: Self-Employed

    Earnings: Competitive commission structure

    Working Hours: Flexible working arrangements, including early mornings, evenings and weekend working as required.

    Essential Requirements

    Level 2 Taking Control of Goods Certification
    Full UK driving licence
    Own suitable vehicle
    Previous experience as an Enforcement Agent
    Demonstrable experience recovering judgment debt

    Our client is currently recruiting for an experienced Self-Employed Enforcement Agent to cover the Isle of Wight.

    This is an excellent opportunity to work with an established and highly regarded provider of High Court Enforcement services. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing High Court Writs, recovering outstanding judgment debts and managing enforcement activity across their designated area.

    We are looking for a motivated and experienced Enforcement Agent with a strong track record of debt recovery, excellent negotiation skills and the ability to work independently in a field-based role.

    As a Self-Employed Enforcement Agent, you will:

    Receive instructions electronically and manage your allocated cases effectively
    Make attendances at debtors’ addresses across the Isle of Wight
    Execute High Court Writs and recover outstanding judgment debts
    Engage professionally with debtors to secure payment
    Collect and securely process payments in line with relevant procedures
    Submit detailed attendance reports electronically following visits
    Complete all relevant paperwork accurately and within required timescales
    Take control of goods and arrange for their removal where necessary
    Manage the removal and handling of goods in accordance with relevant legislation and procedures
    Deal professionally with telephone calls and communications from debtors
    Maintain accurate records relating to enforcement activity and payments
    Carry out all duties in accordance with relevant legislation, regulations and industry standardsSkills & Attributes

    Strong work ethic and commitment to achieving successful outcomes
    Proven experience recovering judgment debt
    Self-motivated and highly organised
    Excellent communication, influencing and negotiation skills
    Confident dealing with individuals in potentially challenging situations

    Flexible approach to working hours, including early mornings, evenings and weekends
    Comfortable working independently in a field-based environment
