Location: Borehamwood
Salary: £28,000 to £30,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 5.00pm, with one hour for lunch
Contract: Permanent, Full Time
Working Pattern: Fully Office Based

We are recruiting for an experienced Bookkeeper to join a well-established wholesaler and supplier business based in Borehamwood,
This is a fantastic permanent opportunity for an experienced, reliable and dedicated Bookkeeper who is looking to join a stable business and build a long term career.
Working across four companies, you will be responsible for the day to day bookkeeping and accounts administration, including working with multiple currencies. The successful candidate will need previous experience using Sage 50 and be confident managing a varied workload.

Key Responsibilities
·Managing the day to day bookkeeping across four companies
·Processing purchase and sales ledger transactions
·Raising and processing invoices
·Bank and credit card reconciliations
·Managing supplier payments and customer receipts
·Processing transactions across multiple currencies
·Maintaining accurate financial records on Sage 50
·Reconciling supplier statements
·Processing expenses
·Assisting with VAT returns
·Preparing information for month end and year end accounts
·Liaising with suppliers, customers and internal departments regarding account queries
·Maintaining accurate records and ensuring financial information is kept up to date
·General accounts administration and supporting the wider business as required

The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for a good all round Bookkeeper who is comfortable taking ownership of their workload and becoming a valued, long term member of the team.
You will ideally have:
·Previous bookkeeping or accounts experience
·Experience using Sage 50 is essential
·Experience working with multiple currencies would be advantageous
·Strong computer skills and confidence using Microsoft Office
·Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
·Good organisational and time management skills
·A professional and confident telephone manner
·The ability to work independently and manage priorities
·A mature, reliable and dedicated approach to work
·A positive attitude and willingness to support the wider team
·A genuine desire to find a long term position and develop your career within the business
