PROMAN is currently recruiting for an experienced Punch Press Operator to join our client's busy manufacturing team.

Pay Rate
£15.25 per hour
⏰ Working Hours
4 on, 4 off shift pattern
07:00 - 19:00
Two unpaid 45-minute breaks per shift
What is a Punch Press Operator?
A Punch Press Operator works with specialist machinery used to cut, shape, and punch holes into sheet metal to create a variety of products and components. You will be responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring machines to ensure parts are manufactured accurately and to a high-quality standard.
Don't worry if you've only worked on one type of machine. Experience operating similar equipment is highly transferable.
What We're Looking For
We are particularly keen to speak with candidates who have experience operating:
✅ Trumpf Punch Press Machines
✅ Salvagnini Punch Press Machines
✅ Amada Machines (highly desirable and transferable experience)
Key Responsibilities
Operating and monitoring punch press machinery
Producing components to specification and quality standards
Performing routine machine checks and basic maintenance
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings where required
Maintaining a safe and clean working environment
Working efficiently to meet production targets
What We're Looking For
Previous experience operating punch press machinery
Experience with Trumpf, Salvagnini, or Amada machines preferred
Good attention to detail
Strong understanding of health and safety procedures
Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
