How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

READY FOR A ROLE WHERE YOU CAN REALLY MAKE YOUR MARK?

Are you a QA, Technical, NPD or Compliance professional looking for more responsibility, variety and the chance to make a genuine impact?

This could be the opportunity you’ve been waiting for.

We’re working with a growing food manufacturing business looking for a Quality & Compliance Supervisor who wants to be involved in more than just day-to-day quality checks.

You’ll have the opportunity to help create new products, improve quality standards, influence food safety and work closely with the Technical Manager and wider production team.

    WHY YOU’LL LOVE THIS ROLE

This is a genuinely varied position where you’ll be involved from product concept right through to launch, while also playing a key role in maintaining and improving site quality and food safety standards.

You won’t be stuck behind a desk. You’ll work across NPD, suppliers, production, quality, audits and continuous improvement, giving you fantastic exposure and the chance to build your technical career.

    YOUR IMPACT

    You’ll be responsible for:

Taking NPD projects from concept to launch
Coordinating suppliers, specifications, samples and technical information
Keeping product specifications and development files accurate and up to date
Working with customers to coordinate samples and project requirements
Supporting the Technical Manager with food safety and quality systems
Monitoring production standards and identifying opportunities to improve
Investigating quality issues and driving corrective actions
Supporting supplier approval and maintaining technical records
Getting involved in BRCGS, customer and internal audits
Managing traceability exercises and supporting recall procedures
Delivering training around GMP, quality and food safety
Helping drive a culture of continuous improvement
    ABOUT YOU

We’re not looking for someone who simply ticks boxes.

We want someone who is curious, organised, hands-on and keen to make things better.

    You’ll ideally have:

Experience within food or drinks manufacturing
A background in QA, Technical, Compliance or NPD
Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, food safety legislation and quality systems
Strong organisation and project management skills
    Excellent communication skills
Confidence working with production teams, suppliers and colleagues
    A proactive approach to problem-solving
Good IT / Microsoft Office skills
HACCP, Internal Auditor, BRCGS or retailer technical experience would be a bonus.

    WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU?

A chance to grow with the business.

You’ll be joining an expanding food manufacturer where your contribution will be visible and valued, with plenty of opportunity to broaden your experience across NPD, technical, quality and compliance.

    £30,000–£35,000 depending on experience
    Full-time permanent position
    Company pension
    On-site parking
    Employee discount
    Ongoing training and development
    Varied role with genuine responsibility
Opportunity to develop your career within a growing food business
    YOUR NEXT MOVE?

If you’re currently working as a QA Supervisor, Quality Technologist, Technical Assistant, Technical Coordinator, NPD Technologist, Food Technologist or Compliance professional and you’re ready to take on more responsibility, we’d love to hear from you.

Don’t just maintain standards. Help raise them.
