Composite Laminator

At Beagle Aircraft, we manufacture precision-engineered components and assemblies for some of the world's leading aerospace programmes.

We're looking for an experienced Composite Laminator to join our team in Christchurch, producing high-quality composite components within a specialist aerospace manufacturing environment.

The Role

Working within our Composites team, you'll manufacture composite components to engineering drawings, laminate manuals, customer specifications and work instructions.

You'll be involved across the manufacturing process, including tooling and mould preparation, material lay-up, laminating, vacuum bagging and demoulding, ensuring components are produced safely, accurately and to demanding quality standards.

What You'll Be Doing

* Carry out composite lay-up and laminating to engineering and customer requirements.

* Prepare tooling and moulds ready for component manufacture.

* Complete vacuum bagging and support demoulding activities.

* Work accurately from engineering drawings, laminate manuals and manufacturing instructions.

* Maintain high standards of quality, workmanship and product traceability.

* Work with Production, Quality and Engineering to resolve manufacturing issues.

* Support Right First Time, 5S and continuous improvement across the Composites area.

About You

We're looking for someone with practical, hands-on experience manufacturing composite components.

You'll ideally have:

* Previous experience as a Composite Laminator or similar composites manufacturing professional.

* Hands-on experience with composite lay-up, laminating and vacuum bagging.

* Experience working with a range of composite materials and processes.

* The ability to read and understand technical drawings, laminate manuals and work instructions.

* Strong attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality components.

* A practical, reliable and team-focused approach.
