How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    This role as a Personal Assistant in the Not for Profit sector is based in Stockport and focuses on providing essential support to senior staff, ensuring the smooth running of their day-to-day schedules. You'll be responsible for managing diaries, coordinating meetings, and handling a variety of administrative tasks that help keep the organisation running effectively.

    Supported senior leadership engagement with a wide range of external stakeholders, regulatory bodies, and strategic partners to advance organisational objectives.
    Managed meeting agendas, prepared documentation, and produced accurate minutes, ensuring confidentiality and maximising the effectiveness of discussions and decision-making.
    Coordinated complex calendars and correspondence, exercising sound judgement to prioritise commitments and optimise leaders' time and productivity.
    Managed a diverse workload with competing priorities, making informed decisions independently to ensure deadlines and business objectives were consistently achieved.
    Supported the planning and delivery of events, maintaining high levels of professionalism, organisation, and technical proficiency.
    Collaborated with corporate support colleagues to assist in the management of office operations, including health and safety, facilities, security, business support systems, budgeting, and procurement activities.Profile
