How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    SERVICE ADVISOR
    Location: Swindon
    Salary: £35,000 OTE
    Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

You will join a professional aftersales team within a modern dealership environment, working closely with customers, Vehicle Technicians and the Parts Department.

    THE ROLE
    As a Service Advisor, you will be the main point of contact for customers while their vehicle is with the dealership.
    Your responsibilities will include:
    ·Booking vehicles in for servicing, maintenance and repair work
    ·Keeping customers updated throughout the workshop process
    ·Liaising closely with the Workshop and Parts Department
    ·Explaining additional work requirements and associated costs
    ·Scheduling and recording workshop activity
    ·Preparing job cards, orders and invoices
    ·Supporting aftersales administration and file auditing
    ·Maintaining accurate customer and vehicle records
    ·Delivering an excellent customer experience from booking through to collection
     
    ABOUT YOU
    You will be a confident and professional individual with excellent communication and organisational skills.
    Previous Service Advisor, Aftersales Advisor or automotive customer service experience would be highly beneficial, although candidates from other customer-focused or premium environments will also be considered.

    You will ideally have:
    ·Experience within a Automotive Service Advisor Role
    ·Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    ·Strong administration and time-management ability
    ·A proactive and flexible approach
    ·The ability to work effectively as part of a team
    ·Good attention to detail
    ·A full UK driving licence
