Technical Specialist

Location: South Lanarkshire
Salary: £40K + £500 per month car allowance

We're recruiting for a Technical Specialist to join a well-established manufacturing business supplying bespoke solutions to a wide range of well-known brands.

This is a varied role where you'll become the technical expert for the business, working closely with customers, suppliers, production and internal technical teams to deliver innovative solutions and support new product development.

The Role

Manage projects from customer brief through to launch.
Provide technical advice on products, materials and packaging solutions.
Support new product introductions and packaging developments.
Work closely with customers to understand technical requirements.
Coordinate packaging trials and product approvals.
Liaise with suppliers, production and technical teams.
Support product specifications and technical documentation.
Travel between UK manufacturing sites to support the wider business.

What We're Looking For

We're keen to speak with candidates who have experience within the packaging industry.

You'll ideally have experience working with customers, suppliers and production teams, along with a good understanding of packaging materials and manufacturing processes.

Opportunity to become a recognised technical specialist within the businessThe role is primarily based in South Lanarkshire, with occasional travel to another local manufacturing site and weekly travel to a second UK manufacturing site. Any overnight stays are fully expensed.
