The Opportunity
An established UK organisation is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support a portfolio of transformation initiatives across HR, Finance and back-office systems. Working within a complex, multi-site environment, you will act as the bridge between business stakeholders and delivery teams, helping shape and deliver process improvements, technology enhancements and strategic change programmes.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Business Analyst who enjoys stakeholder engagement, process optimisation and requirements management within HR, Payroll, Workforce Management, ERP or Finance system landscapes.
Key Responsibilities
Lead business analysis activities across multiple change initiatives
Facilitate workshops, interviews and stakeholder sessions to elicit requirements
Analyse and document current and future state business processes
Produce high-quality business requirements, user stories, process maps and functional specifications
Work closely with HR, Finance, Operations and Technology teams to define solutions
Support requirements traceability, prioritisation and governance activities
Identify process inefficiencies and recommend improvements
Assist with testing, validation and business readiness activities
Manage risks, dependencies and impacts associated with business change
Support adoption of automation and AI-enabled solutions where appropriate
Experience Required
Proven experience as a Business Analyst within complex organisational environments
Strong background delivering HR, Finance, Payroll, ERP or workforce-related transformation projects
Experience working across business and technology teams
Skilled in requirements elicitation, workshop facilitation and stakeholder management
Strong process mapping and business process improvement expertise
Experience operating within Agile, Waterfall or hybrid delivery environments
Comfortable supporting testing, UAT and change activities
Desirable Experience
Healthcare, NHS, healthcare services, retail or consumer-facing sector experience
Exposure to HR platforms such as Workday, SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, iTrent or Dayforce
Experience with Finance platforms such as SAP, Oracle ERP, Dynamics 365 Finance or Unit4
Knowledge of BPMN, Lean Six Sigma or Value Stream Mapping
Familiarity with Power BI, Jira, Confluence and Visio
Exposure to AI, automation, Power Automate, UiPath or Copilot-enabled business processes
