Key Responsibilities:
Assist in amplifying client brief
Undertake condition surveys and reports
Prepare feasibility reports and cost plans
Carry out detailed surveys for equipment replacement
Prepare design calculations with Hevacomp/Bentley Energy Simulator
Prepare detailed designs and coordinate with the CAD team
Attend design team meetings
Prepare NBS specifications, equipment schedules and tender documents
Review and report on tender prices and quality returns
Attend and chair pre-start and site progress meetings
Undertake site quality and progress inspections
Review contractor applications and certify payment
Act as Contract Administrator
Assist and mentor more junior staff
Assist in maintaining project QMS records
Job Requirements:
Degree qualification in an Engineering subject
Experience in electrical engineering, particularly within the rail sector
Knowledge of CDM regulations and experience undertaking safety-related risk assessments
Ability to manage significant building service projects
Strong project management and coordination skills
Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities
Proficiency with engineering software such as Hevacomp/Bentley Energy Simulator
