How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Job Title: Lead in Administration of SEND Statutory Processes
    Location: Uxbridge, West London (UB8)
    Salary: Up to £38,000 per annum (FTE, pro-rata for term-time + 120 hours)
    Job Type: Permanent
    Hours: Term time only + 5 INSET days, 120 hours per year

    The Role

    We are recruiting on behalf of a specialist independent school in Uxbridge for an experienced SEND professional to lead statutory administration across the full SEND pathway — from admission through to transition.

    You will lead and quality assure the school's EHCP Annual Review process, acting as the school's key point of contact for local authorities, health trusts, social services and other external agencies, while coordinating multi-disciplinary professionals supporting students with complex needs.

    Key Responsibilities

    * Lead and quality assure EHCP Annual Review processes, ensuring full compliance with the SEND Code of Practice

    * Liaise with local authorities and other agencies to progress EHCPs and statutory paperwork

    * Coordinate and facilitate Team Around the Child and multi-disciplinary team meetings

    * Monitor whole-school attendance, identify trends and lead targeted intervention strategies

    * Build strong family partnerships to remove barriers to engagement, including home visits

    * Provide specialist advice and induction to staff on SEND legislation and the Annual Review process

    * Produce termly reports for senior leadership and governors

    What We're Looking For

    * Considerable experience working within the SEND sector

    * Strong working knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice and statutory processes

    * Experience coordinating EHCP Annual Reviews and multi-agency working

    * Confident operating autonomously and prioritising competing demands under pressure

    * Excellent written and verbal communication skills

    * Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
