Role Description
We are looking for a Social Media & PR Manager to lead Jolie Beauty’s brand voice, content, and community presence across our organic channels.
Ideally looking for someone who has previous eCommerce experience where social is directly sending traffic to websites.
This role focuses on storytelling, culture, and connection, shaping how Jolie Beauty shows up online and how our community engages with the brand. You’ll work closely with the founder and wider team to deliver compelling social content, PR activity, and community engagement that supports launches, campaigns, and long-term brand growth.
This is a full-time, home based role that follows Monday to Friday 9 to 5. No agencies, please!
Key Responsibilities
Social Media & Content
- Lead and execute organic social media strategy across platforms such as TikTok and Instagram
- Create and publish engaging, on-brand content including short-form video, static posts, and stories
- Plan and manage content calendars aligned with launches, campaigns, and cultural moments
- Maintain a consistent brand voice, aesthetic, and narrative
Community & Engagement
- Build and nurture an engaged online community
- Manage day-to-day community interactions and conversations
- Work with creators, affiliates, and ambassadors to expand reach and engagement
PR & Brand Visibility
- Support PR initiatives, launches, and brand collaborations
- Manage gifted and organic influencer outreach
- Identify opportunities for press coverage, features, and partnerships
- Build relationships with creators, agencies, and cultural partners
Creative Collaboration
- Create simple visuals independently when needed for social and communications
- Collaborate with designers, photographers, and videographers on larger creative projects
- Repurpose UGC, reviews, and social content across channels
Reporting & Insights
- Monitor social performance and engagement metrics
- Identify trends, insights, and content opportunities
- Feed learnings into future campaigns and launches
Experience & Skills
- Proven experience in social media marketing and content creation
- Strong understanding of community management and brand-led social strategy
- Experience with PR, influencer marketing, or brand communications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Creative mindset with strong visual and storytelling instincts
- Comfortable analysing performance data and adapting strategy
- Experience within beauty, fashion, music, or alternative culture is a strong plus
