- Support strategy development, running spend, supplier market and benchmarking analysis.
- Run sourcing events: scope definition, RFI/RFP, bid analysis, negotiation and award.
- Manage sourcing project plans, timelines and risks, lead workstreams, report progress and savings.
- Work with Legal, Quality and Finance to move agreements from award to signed contract.
- Follow supplier performance and market trends to pass on findings to category strategy.
Your Background:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent working experience; MBA preferred.
- Extensive proven experience in strategic sourcing or procurement project management, within pharma, biotech or life sciences.
- Knowledge of laboratory categories and research CRO markets.
- Proven RFx and negotiation experience, and skills to build cost comparisons.
- Experience using eSourcing, contract systems and Advanced Excel.
- Willing to work in the offices in West London.
