How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

The role will undertake planned condition surveys, targeted inspections, audit surveys and defect investigations, producing high-quality ISS specification aligned survey outputs that identify

We are keen to consider either a Structural Engineer or an MRICS Building Surveyor.

Reporting into our Account's Head of Asset Management and line managing a more junior surveyor this is a fantastic new role across high profile client, in a role where you will be responsible for the end to end risk process in relation to Building Fabric across the customer estate.

    Duties will include:

    • Fabric Risk & Criticality Framework: Build and govern a risk-based fabric management framework covering maintenance, surveys, inspections, audit activity, lifecycle priorities and escalation criteria.
    • Annual Survey, Inspection & Audit Programme: Build and govern a risk-ranked c.42-site programme, regional batching, targeted inspections and assurance/audit surveys across the c.208-site estate.
    • Client Fabric Risk Reporting: Manage and relay fabric risk and criticality, translating defects into priority, lifecycle, resilience and investment narratives for client governance.
    • Specialist Supplier & Technical Resource: Manage RICS surveyors, IStructE referrals, UAV survey deployment and internal thermal-imaging support.
    • QA, Data, SLA & Compliance Evidence: Deliver 100% desktop QA, on-site validation, report acceptance, 60-day Tririga SLA monitoring and auditable evidence packs.

    We need from you:

    • A CEng or IEng Structural Engineer
    • Strong building fabric, pathology and condition-survey experience across retail, banking or multi-site commercial estates.
    • Ability to build and govern a risk-based fabric management framework
