The Role
You will join an established Residential Property team in Bishop’s Stortford, managing your own caseload and advising clients on a range of residential property transactions.
The work is varied and includes high-value sales and purchases, as well as more complex residential matters. You will have the opportunity to build trusted relationships with clients and become a key point of contact throughout their transactions.
You will be supported by experienced senior lawyers while having the autonomy to take ownership of your work and develop your own profile within the team.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing your own caseload of residential property matters from instruction through to completion.
- Acting for high-net-worth individuals and private clients on high-value residential transactions.
- Handling sales, purchases, re-mortgages, equity release, shared ownership and lease extensions.
- Providing commercially focused, technically excellent advice and delivering an exceptional client experience.
- Building long-term relationships with clients, referrers and professional contacts.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues across the wider firm to provide a complete service to clients.
- Supporting senior lawyers on more complex transactions where required.
- Contributing to networking, marketing and business development initiatives.
- Maintaining high standards of file management, billing and time recording.
