How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Experienced KS2 Teacher Wanted for September

    With the new academic year just two weeks away, we're looking for a confident and experienced KS2 Teacher to work across primary schools in Ellesmere Port.

    This role would suit a teacher who knows the KS2 curriculum inside and out, is confident stepping into different classrooms, and has a strong understanding of the expectations and standards required at this stage of primary education.

    We're particularly interested in teachers with experience preparing pupils for SATs, including a good understanding of assessment, progress tracking and the demands of Year 6.

    The ideal teacher will have:

    Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
    An up-to-date DBS check
    Proven experience teaching across Key Stage 2
    Strong knowledge of the KS2 National Curriculum
    Experience with SATs preparation and assessment
    A good understanding of assessment, attainment and pupil progress
    The confidence to quickly establish routines and relationships in different school environments
    A flexible and adaptable approach to supply teaching
    Strong classroom management and behaviour management skills
