How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

A great opportunity to take ownership of projects and build your career

Do you have experience in project coordination, project support or a similar role, preferably within construction, engineering or another technical environment?

An established and growing business within the construction industry is looking for a Project Manager to join its close-knit team near Marlow, Bucks.

The company has grown from a family-run start-up into a recognised industry leader, combining market-leading construction products with innovative AI software to make the customer experience better, faster and more efficient.

Salary of 33-35k plus 10% bonus

Monday to Thursday 8am to 5pm Friday 8am to 4pm

    The Role of Project Manager

This is a hands-on Project Manager position where you’ll take real ownership of live projects from sales handover through to successful delivery.

You’ll work closely with customers, suppliers, contractors and internal teams, making sure projects remain organised, on programme and moving forward. You’ll have the support of an experienced Project Delivery Manager, while being trusted to take responsibility, solve problems and deliver results.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is ambitious, organised and proactive, with a clear pathway to progress into a Senior Project Manager position.

    What You’ll Be Doing

    * Managing your own projects from sales handover through to confirmed delivery

    * Keeping project trackers accurate and up to date, including key dates, risks and actions

    * Managing sales orders, suppliers and deliveries to programme

    * Supporting tenders with documentation, quotations and bid submissions

    * Acting as a key point of contact for customers and suppliers

    * Maintaining clear and professional communication throughout projects

    * Finding smarter and more efficient ways of working, including using modern and AI-assisted tools

    * Supporting the Project Coordinator and wider team where required

    * Identifying potential issues early and taking ownership of getting them resolved

    What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who enjoys being organised, taking responsibility and getting things done.

Ideally, you’ll have experience in project coordination, project support or a similar role, preferably within construction, engineering or another technical environment.

    You’ll also have:

    * Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail

    * The ability to manage multiple projects and priorities

    * Confident communication skills with both commercial and technical contacts

    * The ability to read construction drawings, or the aptitude to learn

    * Good spreadsheet, tracker and systems experience

    * Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite would be advantageous

    * A proactive, ownership-focused approach

    * The ability to plan ahead, follow things through and keep projects moving

    * A genuine desire to learn, develop and progress

    Career Progression

This is more than simply a project management role — it’s an opportunity to build a long-term career.

There is a clear, milestone-based route towards Senior Project Manager, with progression based on consistent project delivery, sound commercial judgement and developing leadership skills.

For the right person, there is genuine opportunity to progress — how quickly you get there is up to you.

    The Opportunity

You’ll be joining a friendly, forward-thinking business where people are encouraged to take ownership, contribute ideas and make a real difference.

If you’re looking for a role where you’ll be trusted, supported and given genuine scope to develop your career, we’d love to hear from you
