Maths Lecturer – FE College
8-Week Temporary Contract | Immediate Start
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Maths Lecturer to join a well-established Further Education College on an initial 8-week temporary contract.
This is a great opportunity for someone looking for a short-term FE teaching assignment, delivering Maths to learners across a range of levels.
The Role
- Deliver engaging Maths lessons within an FE College
- Teach predominantly GCSE Maths / Functional Skills
- Plan and deliver lessons in line with the college curriculum
- Support learners to improve confidence, attainment and progression
- Complete relevant marking, assessment and learner tracking
- Work closely with the wider Maths department
Requirements
- Previous experience teaching Maths within Further Education
- Relevant teaching qualification desirable
- Strong knowledge of GCSE Maths and/or Functional Skills
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service preferred
- Available to start at short notice and commit for the full 8 weeks
