Residential Conveyancing Assistant

The Opportunity
We are currently recruiting for a Residential Conveyancing Assistant to join a well-established legal team in Congleton.
This is a great opportunity for someone with at least 12 months' experience in residential conveyancing who is looking to develop their career within a supportive and experienced team.
You'll work closely with experienced conveyancers, assisting with a varied caseload and helping to progress matters from initial instruction through to completion.
What You'll Be Doing
- Supporting fee earners with residential conveyancing matters
- Opening and managing files
- Ordering searches and title documents
- Preparing conveyancing forms and documentation
- Liaising with clients, solicitors, estate agents and referrers
- Keeping clients updated throughout the transaction
- Ensuring files are accurate, organised and compliant
- Assisting with matters through to completion and file closure
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who has:
- 12+ months' experience within residential conveyancing
- Good knowledge of the residential conveyancing process
- Strong communication and client-care skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good organisational skills
- The ability to manage deadlines and competing priorities
- Confidence using IT and Microsoft Office
- A professional and positive approach
