📍 Portsmouth | Full-Time | Permanent
🕒 Monday–Friday, 8:00am–6:00pm + 1 in 3 Saturdays

We are recruiting for an experienced Workshop Controller to join a busy commercial vehicle operation in the Portsmouth area.

This is a hands-on leadership role, ideal for someone with strong HGV technical knowledge and commercial workshop experience looking to take the next step in their career.

🔧 The Role

* Coordinate the day-to-day running of the workshop

* Allocate jobs and manage workshop resources

* Lead and support workshop staff

* Monitor productivity, quality and performance

* Work towards KPIs, budgets and targets

* Liaise with Service, Parts and Management teams

* Ensure high standards of safety and customer service

✅ About You

* Previous commercial workshop management/control experience

* Strong HGV technical knowledge essential

* Automotive industry experience essential

* Strong leadership and organisational skills

* Able to prioritise and multitask

* Experience working with KPIs and targets

* Proactive approach with excellent attention to detail
