How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    MIG Welder / Fabricator - Nights - Up to £22.66ph

    Location: Bridlington
    Pay: £21.30 - £22.66 per hour, depending on experience
    Shift: Permanent Nights
    Hours: Monday to Friday, 5:00pm - 1:30am

    Are you an experienced MIG Welder, Fabricator Welder or Structural Steel Fabricator looking for a well-paid night shift in Bridlington?

    ES Recruit is recruiting experienced Fabricator / MIG Welders to join a well-established engineering and manufacturing business.

    This is an excellent opportunity for skilled welders with experience in structural steel fabrication, MIG welding and working from engineering drawings.

    Monday to Friday night shift
    5:00pm - 1:30am

    The Role

    Working as part of the fabrication team, you will be responsible for:

    MIG welding structural steel
    Fabricating steel components from engineering drawings
    Reading and interpreting technical drawings
    Measuring, marking out and preparing materials
    Producing welds to the required specification
    Inspecting completed welds and fabricated components
    Completing relevant quality documentation
    Working to production and quality targets
    Maintaining a clean and safe working environment

    What We're Looking For

    We'd like to hear from experienced MIG Welders / Fabricator Welders / Structural Steel Fabricators who have:

    Proven MIG welding experience
    Previous fabrication experience
    Experience working with structural steel
    Confidence reading and working from engineering drawings
    Good knowledge of fabrication and welding processes
    Strong attention to detail
    Ability to produce high-quality welds consistently
    A reliable and hardworking approachExperience within structural steel, heavy fabrication, engineering, manufacturing or steelwork would be particularly beneficial.
