We are recruiting for a Field Service Engineer to join a UK manufacturer and service provider of industrial & laboratory weighing solutions. As a proud member of ‘Made in Britain’ and ‘Made in the Midlands’, UKAS & ISO 9001 certified along with SafeContracting approval for engineering integrity. My clients have a proven track record offering high-quality engineering services and manufacturing across Food & Beverage, Pharmaceuticals, Chemical, Manufacturing and Logistics markets.
The Role
As a Field Service Engineer, you’ll be in a customer facing role. key responsibilities include:
Performing calibrations, service and maintenance on a range of weighing and measurement equipment.
Diagnose and resolve technical issues, providing clear solutions to the customer.
Ensure compliance with ISO9001 and ISO 17025 standards.
Build strong, professional relationships with clients.
Maintain accurate service records, certificates and documentation.
The Person We’re Looking For
To succeed in this role as a Field Service Engineer, you’ll need:
Experience in basic calibrations, service and maintenance on a range of weighing and measurement equipment
Be able to problem solve and use initiative - Diagnose and resolve technical issues, providing clear solutions to the customer
Have strong customer facing skills
Understand compliance with ISO9001 and ISO 17025 standards
Be able to maintain accurate service records, certificates and documentation
