How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    We are recruiting for a Fresh Produce Supply Chain Coordinator to join a fast-paced fresh produce business in Kent.

    This role is responsible for coordinating the movement of fresh produce through the supply chain, ensuring customer demand is met while maintaining product availability, minimising waste and supporting high service levels.

    You will work closely with commercial teams, growers, suppliers and third-party packing sites to ensure accurate stock management and efficient order fulfilment.

    Supply Chain Coordinator Key Responsibilities

    Coordinate daily produce arrivals and ensure stock is accurately received onto company systems.
    Generate receiving documentation and arrival reports for growers and packhouses.
    Monitor and reconcile stock levels against system records.
    Support product rotation to minimise waste and maximise profitability.
    Process customer orders and manage amendments.
    Allocate stock against customer demand and proactively manage potential shortages.
    Coordinate supply requirements across third-party packing facilities.
    Maintain packing schedules, tray movements and de-hire activity.
    Process ASN and customer-specific data requirements.
    Maintain accurate supply chain data, master data and supply sheets.
    Process XML files and support works order administration.
    Verify third-party packhouse invoices and ancillary charges.Supply Chain Coordinator Key Skills and Experience

    Previous experience within supply chain or fresh produce.
    Strong organisational and administrative skills.
    Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy.
    Confident working within a fast-paced environment.
    Good Microsoft Excel skills.
    Experience using Prophet or another stock management system.
    Experience with Tesco TIMS.
    Strong communication skills and the ability to work across multiple stakeholders.This is a great opportunity for someone with supply chain experience looking to develop further within the fresh produce sector.
