Job Title: Manufacturing Operative – Progression Opportunity

Location: Alcester, with temporary travel to Northampton

Hours: Monday to Friday 39 hours per week

Salary: £30,000 per annum paid weekly

HR Employment are currently recruiting for a Manufacturing Operative in Alcester. The business is currently moving from Northampton to Alcester, so temporary travel will be required.

This is a hands-on manufacturing position with the potential to develop into a team leader or supervisory role as the operation becomes fully established at Alcester.

The role would suit someone who wants to build a long-term career in manufacturing and is prepared to learn through practical involvement on the shop floor.

Main duties include:

• Hands-on involvement within the manufacturing operation

• Learning existing production processes and product requirements

• Supporting the transfer and establishment of manufacturing activity at Alcester

• Working closely with production and management colleagues

• Maintaining expected standards of quality, safety and productivity

• Developing the knowledge and experience required to take on greater responsibility

• Potential progression into a team leader or supervisory position

• Is willing to learn and take on responsibility

• Has a reliable and flexible approach to work

• Is prepared to travel regularly to Northampton during the transition period
