How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

SENDCo - Part Time - Beaconsfield

Make a difference. Lead with purpose. Shape inclusive practice.

We are looking for an experienced and committed SENDCo to join the team for two days per week.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about inclusion and wants to make a meaningful difference to children and families. You will play a key role in developing high-quality SEND provision, supporting colleagues and ensuring that every child is given the opportunity to succeed.

    The Role

As SENDCo, you will provide strategic leadership alongside hands-on support, ensuring that SEND provision is effective, responsive and rooted in the needs of individual pupils.

    You will:

Lead and coordinate day-to-day SEND provision across the school.

Support teachers to identify needs, implement appropriate strategies and follow the graduated approach.

Develop, monitor and evaluate interventions to ensure they have a positive impact.

Work collaboratively with external professionals and agencies.

Lead and coordinate EHCP applications, annual reviews and consultations.

Ensure the school meets its statutory responsibilities under the SEND Code of Practice and Equality Act.

Keep SEND policies, systems and records up to date.

Work closely with senior leaders and governors to evaluate and continually improve SEND provision.

    You will ideally have:

Qualified Teacher Status and experience of teaching in a primary setting.

Successful experience working as a SENDCo.

Strong knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice (2015) and the Equality Act.

Experience working effectively with families, external agencies and governors.

    Strong organisational and communication skills.

A calm, positive and solution-focused approach to behaviour and inclusion.

Experience of developing and improving SEND provision.

The confidence to lead, support and appropriately challenge colleagues.

A commitment to safeguarding, inclusion and pupil and staff wellbeing.

A reflective and resilient approach, with a genuine commitment to continued professional development.

A recognised SENDCo qualification would be desirable, although we will also consider candidates with strong relevant experience and a clear strategic approach to SEND leadership.

    What We Offer

    In return, we offer:

A welcoming and supportive professional environment.

A role with genuine scope to influence and improve SEND provision.

Opportunities for leadership development, CPD and coaching.

The opportunity to make a tangible difference to pupils, families and staff.

A commitment to inclusion, wellbeing and continuous improvement.

    Key Information

    Salary: UPS + SEN allowance

Working pattern: 2 days per week

    Ready to make a difference?

If you are an ambitious and experienced SEND professional who is passionate about inclusion and believes every child deserves the right support to flourish, we would love to hear from you.
