How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Project Manager - Biopharma CAPEX

    Project Manager to lead, coordinate and deliver CAPEX project onsite supporting and optimizing throughout.

    Job Purpose

    * Execute project plans, budgets, timelines and resource allocations for large-scale Biopharma CAPEX projects.

    * Track project milestones and ensure timely delivery of all phases.

    * Proactive drive Safety and Quality focus throughout project lifecycle.

    * Prepare and present regular progress updates to senior management and stakeholders.

    * Primary point of contact for internal teams, contractors, technical consultants, and regulatory bodies.

    * Lead / motivate multidisciplinary teams, ensuring alignment with project objectives.

    * Ensure effective communication / collaboration between engineering, procurement, and quality assurance.

    * Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure project success.

    * Manage project budgets, ensure cost control and adherence to financial target.

    * Prepare regular financial reports and forecasts for stakeholders and senior management.

    * Mentor and provide guidance to the team.

    * Enforce compliance with all relevant laws, policies and regulations.

    * Conduct regular risk assessments and update stakeholders on potential issues.

    Requirements:

    * 5-8 years in the Life Science/Biotech industry, 3+ years specifically in Project Management.

    * Technical Degree or Master's in a relevant field.

    * Experience in Portfolio Resource Management and Business Case Development.

    * Strong influencing skills, ability to resolve conflicts, and lead multinational teams.

    * Proven track record of continuous improvement and problem solving in manufacturing environments.

    * Expertise in use of Smartsheets, MS Project, and Trackwise (or other Change Control systems)
