How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Use batter rails, travellers and visualisation stakeouts to ensure accurate construction.
Review and validate 3D machine control models for automated earthmoving equipment.
Interpret drawings, specifications and works information to determine appropriate construction methods.
Work closely with Foremen and site teams to coordinate earthworks activities.
Prepare and maintain Plans, RAMS, ITPs and checklists.
Manage QA processes and ensure all required checks are completed before works commence.
Carry out spot soil quality checks, including plasticity and moisture content testing.
Support short-term and rolling-wave planning to maintain project efficiency.
Identify and report contractual events to the Commercial Team.
Accurately document verbal instructions, including supporting sketches and technical details.
Provide technical guidance to site teams and assist with resolving engineering issues.

    ABOUT YOU

We’re looking for a Senior Engineer with:

4+ years' experience in Civil Engineering, ideally with a strong background in earthworks.
Experience working on major infrastructure or complex construction projects.
Strong knowledge of site surveying, setting out and quality assurance.
Experience with GNSS surveying and 3D machine control.
Good understanding of modern construction methods and earthworks processes.
Ability to interpret drawings, specifications and technical information.
Strong knowledge of construction documentation including RAMS, ITPs and QA processes.
Eligibility for ICE membership and a commitment to progressing towards IEng status.
    Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
A proactive approach with the ability to work effectively alongside site teams.
