Overview:
You will act as a liaison between various departments, and plan, coordinate, action and monitor the receipt, storage and despatch of materials.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure orders are processed efficiently and that the delivery of materials meets operational timescales and requirements.
* Control WIP (work in process) order and picking for operations to ensure accuracy with minimum handling and stock damage.
* Booking stock in and out
* Carry out stock takes and keeping accurate records
* Receiving stock and ensure materials are stored correctly.
* Using an FLT when required.
* Moving materials to production teams when they're needed.
* Maintaining stock accuracy within the warehouse management system.
* Ensure that internal delivery processes are adhered to support dispatch time windows.
* Lead, follow up and resolve customer concerns.
* Identify and resolve stock or delivery issues before they affect production.
* Record shortages in stock and comminate them to the relevant Managers.
* Ensure 5S housekeeping standards are always maintained.
Requirements:
* Reliability and good communication skills.
* Competent with Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, Excel, SAGE and TRELLO
* Valid counterbalance forklift license.
* Team player with experience of working within a factory setting would be an advantage
* Someone with previous experience in a similar role such as Materials Controller, Stock Controller, Inventory Controller or Coordinator would be ideally suited to this role.
