Are you a Fire Alarm Designer and/or Estimator looking for your next opportunity?
We’re looking for a knowledgeable and motivated Fire Alarm Designer / Estimator to join the our clients Minor Projects team. This is a varied role where you’ll play an important part in taking projects up to £500k from the initial tender stage through to successful handover.
What You’ll Be Doing
Reviewing tender drawings, specifications and project documentation.
Preparing detailed and accurate quotations for fire alarm installations, upgrades and maintenance projects.
Producing design drawings, schematics, cause and effect matrices and equipment schedules.
Attending pre-tender and site survey meetings where required.Essential Experience & Qualifications
Experience in fire alarm system design and estimating, with FIA, Zuess, Level 3 or equivalent qualification in fire alarm design to BS 5839.
Ability to confidently interpret construction drawings and specifications.
Experience using AutoCAD or similar design software.
Good understanding of commercial estimating principles.
Experience using estimating software and CRM systems.
Knowledge of Gent, Notifier, Siemens, Advanced, C-Tec, Hochiki, Morley, Apollo or similar fire alarm systems.What We Offer
Salary, £40K-£48K based on experience.
