How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Our client, within the Financial Services sector, is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced individual for the role of Experience and Events London Lead. This is an exceptional opportunity to lead workplace experiences and events at their London HQ, contributing to a vibrant and engaging environment for colleagues and visitors alike.

    About the Role:

    In this highly visible position, the Experience and Events London Lead will report to the WE&O London Lead and will be responsible for the day-to-day delivery and continuous improvement of workplace experiences and events across the London portfolio. The role is vital in ensuring a high touch, "one team" service that exceeds expectations for colleagues, customers, guests, and visitors.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Workplace Experience Leadership:- Develop and implement modern workplace programmes to deliver a best-in-class experience for employees and guests.
    - Set and maintain service standards that elevate front-of-house and event interactions.
    - Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Workplace Experience and Events, driving process improvements.

    Events Leadership and Delivery:

    - Own the end-to-end delivery of events, ensuring they run smoothly from start to finish.
    - Serve as the first point of contact for client events, managing event briefs and logistics.
    - Coordinate pre-event meetings to confirm objectives, operational needs, and risk considerations.

    Client Relationship Management:

    - Build trusted relationships through proactive engagement and attentive listening.
    - Ensure client and guest expectations are met, delivering a seamless on-site experience.
    - Handle complaints professionally, implementing action plans for resolution.

    Team Leadership:

    - Develop and mentor a high-quality, motivated team to support the client strategy.
    - Foster a collaborative environment across functions and service partners.
    - Coordinate regular meetings to ensure consistent communication and delivery.

    Operational Governance and Continuous Improvement:

    - Keep operational manuals and event-related documentation up to date.
    - Conduct post-event feedback collection and audits to drive improvements.
    - Provide regular management reports, including event statistics and trend analysis.

    Technology and Innovation:

    - Drive innovation in experience and events delivery through technology and improved operational routines.
    - Identify opportunities to enhance booking journeys and communications.

    Sustainability and Responsible Delivery:

    - Embed sustainable practises into event planning and workplace experience delivery.
    - Collaborate with partners to support sustainability goals across operations and events.

    Skills and Capabilities:

    Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    Strong stakeholder management abilities and a customer-centric approach.
    Exceptional planning and organisational skills with an ability to manage multiple projects.
    Collaborative mindset, promoting a "one team" culture.
    Data-literate with strong analytical and reporting skills.
    Proficient in MS Office and Outlook; comfortable with event management systems.Experience Required:

    Significant experience in workplace experience, events, or facilities management.
    Proven ability to coordinate and deliver complex events in a fast-paced corporate environment.
    Experience in team leadership and developing motivated teams.
    Data analysis experience in a business context.
