How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Working pattern: Office-based, 5 days per week

    ABOUT US

Adair is an independent property and construction consultancy working across the UK and internationally.

Our projects include high-end multimillion-pound homes, residential developments, commercial buildings, hotels, leisure schemes, affordable housing and major refurbishments. We help clients manage construction costs, projects, buildings and disputes.

    ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a Marketing Coordinator to join our team in Covent Garden.

This is a broad, hands-on B2B marketing and business development role for someone at the beginning of their marketing career who wants exposure to much more than just social media.

Working closely with our Marketing & BD Lead, you will get involved across digital marketing, content, CRM, events, research, business development, client communications and marketing collateral.

You will work with senior people across the business, learn about our clients and markets, and have the opportunity to take ownership of projects as your experience develops.

The role could suit either a strong recent graduate with meaningful practical marketing experience, or someone with around 1–3 years' experience looking to build a broad career in B2B marketing.

    Responsibilities

    *

Supporting B2B marketing and business development activity

    *

Creating content for LinkedIn, the website and other channels

    *

Supporting email marketing and client communications

    *

Producing presentations, capability documents and marketing collateral

    *

Supporting bids, tenders and business development opportunities

    *

Helping organise and attend client and industry events

    *

    Maintaining CRM and marketing databases

    *

Conducting client, market and competitor research

    *

    Supporting marketing analytics and reporting

    WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

We are looking for someone proactive, organised, commercially curious and keen to build a career in B2B marketing.

You do not need to have done everything listed above. At this stage of your career, we are more interested in whether you have strong foundations, practical experience and the initiative to learn quickly.

However, this is not a role focused purely on consumer social media or content creation. You should be interested in businesses, clients, markets and how marketing supports commercial growth.

Experience in construction, property, architecture, engineering, consultancy or another professional-services environment would be a strong advantage, but is not essential.

    Requirements

    You should have either:

    *

A relevant degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or a related subject, with practical marketing experience through an internship, placement, university society, project or employment; or

    *

Meaningful practical experience in marketing, communications or business development without a directly relevant degree

    We are also looking for:

    *

    Evidence of practical marketing experience

    *

Strong written and verbal communication skills

    *

Excellent organisation and attention to detail

    *

    Confidence using Microsoft Office

    *

Some exposure to LinkedIn, email marketing, CRM, websites, events, research, analytics or digital marketing

    *

A genuine interest in B2B marketing and business

    *

A proactive approach and willingness to take ownership

    *

    Confidence representing the business professionally

You do not need experience across every marketing discipline or platform. What matters most is strong potential, practical experience and the motivation to develop.

    SALARY & BENEFITS

    Competitive salary depending on experience

    Benefits include:

    *

    Private healthcare

    *

    25 days Annual Leave

    *

    Pension

    *

    Life insurance

    *

    Critical illness cover

    *

    Professional development and career progression

This is an opportunity to develop into a well-rounded B2B marketing professional within a growing consultancy, with broad exposure and responsibility from an early stage.
