Interim Management Accountant

We are recruiting a management accountant for an immediate start role in Bakewell. The client offers hybrid working (2 days office) and flexibility on start and finish times. You would be working for a prestigious company in an idyllic setting.

Client Details

Our client is based in Bakewell.

Description

· Prepare monthly management accounts, including profit and loss, balance sheet and cash flow.

· Maintain and control records within the management accounts, ensuring all appropriate reconciliations and necessary adjustments are completed.

· Provide system support and maintenance of the Group's Finance and Business Systems where appropriate

· To manage a Finance Assistant

· To provide finance support to the Group Financial Controller, FP&A Manager and Senior Management, including the development and production of financial and non-financial management information.

· Evaluate the impact of new activities and investment opportunities, both before and after implementation.

· Prepare budgets and forecasts in conjunction with Senior Management, for review by the FP&A Manager.

· Evaluate business performance, highlighting risks and opportunities to budget and forecasts, and preparing performance reviews, KPI's, and ad hoc analysis.

· Complete internal audit reviews to ensure compliance with group policies, procedures, and controls.

· Completion and timely submission of VAT, Statutory and Government statistical returns, and assist in the preparation of the Devonshire Group tax computations.

· Prepare statutory accounts and support the external audit, as appropriate.

Profile

A successful Interim Management Accountant should have:

Relevant qualifications in accounting or finance.
Experience in management accounting, ideally within the not-for-profit sector.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in financial software and tools.
An organised and detail-oriented approach to work.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Job Offer
