How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Assembly Technician - Full Training given
    Location: Pulborough
    You'll be responsible for assembling electro mechanical products through encapsulation processes.
    Main Objective
    * Responsible for the assembly of electro mechanical products including the encapsulation process.
    * Carry out all aspects of mechanical assembly work as part of the Encapsulation process including pouring, sealing, priming and conformal coating of assemblies.
    * Carrying out routine checks, maintenance and cleaning of encapsulation machines, compressor, vacuum pump, maintenance and filter change of spray booth equipment all in accordance with procedures.
    * Planning, progressing and co-ordinating workload in accordance with production schedule and other internal customers, such as repair and design departments.
    * Raising production paperwork including non-compliance/rework records and stores requisitions in accordance with company processes.
    * Ensuring all quality procedures for build and workmanship standards and ESD requirements are implemented.
    * Maintaining and improving housekeeping and cleanliness of work area.
    * Working on own initiative reading BOM’s and drawings etc.
    * Engagement in continuous improvement initiatives.
    * Responsibility for adhering to the Company’s Quality ISO9001 Quality and ISO14001 Environmental Management system requirements and the Health and Safety Management System.
    Skills, Knowledge, and Experience
    * High voltage assembly techniques.
    * Electronic component recognition.
    * Understanding of mechanical assembly procedures and processes.
    * Appreciation of modern manufacturing techniques.
    * Good communication skills.
