Workshop Recruitment are currently looking for experienced SMT Operators to join a busy manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have previous experience operating Siplace/ASM SMT machinery, although candidates with other relevant SMT/SMR experience will also be considered.
The Role
Operate SMT placement machinery and associated production equipment.
Set up and run SMT production processes to specification.
Monitor machinery and production output to maintain quality standards.
Carry out routine checks and identify production issues.
Work to engineering drawings, production instructions and quality procedures.
Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment.
Essential Requirements
Previous experience within an SMT manufacturing environment.
Experience operating SMT.
Ability to follow production instructions and quality procedures.
Good attention to detail and quality awareness.
Reliable and able to work as part of a production team.
Desirable
Siplace / ASM experience.
Experience with SMT machine setup and changeovers.
Electronics manufacturing experience.
