How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    HR Manager – Fixed Term Contract
    Hayes, West London | £60,000 per annum | Fixed Term Contract

    Are you an experienced HR Manager looking for a broad role where you can really make a difference?

    We’re working with an established international business looking for an HR Manager to take ownership of the UK HR function on a fixed term contract.

    This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident HR professional who enjoys being a hands-on HR Business Partner, working closely with senior leaders and managers and having real influence across the business.

    What we're looking for

    You'll be an experienced HR Manager or Senior HR Generalist with:

    5+ years' HR experience, ideally at HR Manager level.
    CIPD Level 5 qualification.
    Strong UK employment law and employee relations knowledge.
    A broad HR background covering recruitment, performance, training and employee engagement.
    Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
    The confidence to influence and advise managers at all levels.
    A practical, proactive and solutions-focused approach.
    Experience within retail, FMCG, consumer or an international/matrix organisation would be advantageous.
    Ideally you will be immediately available What you'll be doing

    Take ownership of the day-to-day UK HR function and provide trusted advice to managers and employees.
    Manage the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee relations and offboarding.
    Partner with managers on workforce planning, talent, succession and organisational development.
    Lead on employee relations matters, providing practical and commercially focused advice.
    Manage the annual performance review process and support employee engagement initiatives.
    Oversee HR compliance, policies, employee records and Right to Work requirements.
    Support training and development programmes and identify key training needs.
    Work closely with the business on Health & Safety and employee wellbeing.
    Monitor HR metrics and provide insight and reporting to senior stakeholders.
