How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

Senior Commercial Sales Manager (Scour) – Offshore Wind Industry
    Location: Copenhagen HQ, Norwich, Vejle
    Salary: Competitive
    Vacancy Type: Full-time
Are you passionate about commercial strategy, complex offshore projects and building strong client relationships? Do you want to work in the offshore wind industry where your skills and expertise will help secure a sustainable future based on renewable energy? Then keep reading – Cadeler is looking for a Senior Commercial Sales Manager (Scour) with your skills and interests!
Cadeler is a global partner in the offshore wind industry, specializing in wind farm construction and maintenance. We are part of an industry that is now, more than ever, both relevant and play a critical role in the energy transition with a strong long-term outlook. As our industry continues to develop, so do we! We are now looking for a Senior Commercial Sales Manager (Scour) to lead and coordinate our commercial activities within scour protection and help develop this growing area of our business.
    What will you do?
As our new Senior Commercial Sales Manager, you will manage and coordinate sales activities for our Scour Department, working both directly with developers and in close collaboration with our Foundation T&I teams when scour protection forms part of a wider scope. You will be a key commercial interface towards clients throughout the sales process, from early engagement and pre-qualification through tendering, negotiation and contract signature.
    Your main tasks include:
    * Lead scour tenders from initial client engagement and ITT review through proposal development, internal approval, negotiation and contract signature.
    * Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and act as a trusted commercial partner, understanding their needs and developing tailored solutions together with relevant internal teams.
    * Define tender strategies and coordinate commercial and technical deliverables across Scour, Foundation Sales, Engineering, Procurement, Finance and other relevant stakeholders.
    * Take ownership of proposals, including pricing, cost calculations, programmes, qualifications, deviations and commercial and technical risk assessments.
    * Lead client clarification meetings and contract negotiations, ensuring alignment on expectations, deliverables and appropriate risk allocation.
    * Ensure a structured handover to the project organisation following contract award and bring lessons learned into future tenders.
    * Identify new clients, markets and business opportunities globally while contributing to long-term pipeline planning and supporting the development of other team members.
    To succeed in this role
Being part of the Cadeler community means you will have a natural interest and care for the environment and our shared mission to speed up the green energy transition. Your environmental considerations and the safety of our people and the planet will be a key priority in your daily work.
We are looking for an experienced and commercially driven profile who combines strong commercial judgement with a solid understanding of technically complex offshore projects. You are structured, collaborative and confident engaging with stakeholders at all levels, and you are comfortable taking ownership of complex tenders and negotiations.
We think you will be a good match if you:
    * Hold a BSc or MSc in engineering, business, commercial disciplines or another relevant field.
    * Have solid experience within offshore wind, EPCI, T&I, oil & gas or a comparable industry, including at least five years in a commercially focused role.
    * Have good knowledge of offshore T&I projects, complex tender processes and contract negotiations.
    * Bring strong commercial and analytical skills with the ability to quickly understand technical information and translate it into commercial solutions.
    * Are a confident communicator and relationship builder who can influence stakeholders, navigate negotiations and collaborate across functions.
    * Are proficient in Microsoft Office, Teams and SharePoint, and communicate fluently in written and spoken English.
    Come work with us!
By becoming a Cadeler employee, you will be part of a rapidly growing company with a diverse and energetic team. We offer an exciting position focused on delivering excellence in the face of interesting new challenges, within a positive and rewarding work environment in an international company with great development possibilities.
Cadeler is headquartered in Copenhagen, but we also have offices in Vejle, UK, and Taiwan, as well as colleagues working offshore aboard our fleet of Wind Farm Installation Vessels (WFIV).
